Bishop Jim
Bishop Jim Njegovan, ordained priest in 1979 in the diocese of Rupert’s Land, was consecrated Bishop of Brandon at St. Matthew's Cathedral on Saturday, 2 February, 2002. He was formerly the Dean of the Cathedral and served parishes in Winnipeg before that. He received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Divinity from St. John’s College at the University of Manitoba. He has served on various diocesan committees, including Program and Planning, and Doctrine and Worship, and was a member of the last three General Synods. Bishop Jim is married to Bernadette and they have two adult children: Fr. Noah (a priest in our diocese) and Jessica.
