Welcome!
The Diocese of Brandon is located in the western part of Manitoba in Canada. We were founded in 1913 when the area was sectioned off from the Diocese of Rupert’s Land. Our diocese covers 100,000 square miles with over fifty different congregations that are enthusiastic about the worship of God and about serving their neighbours in Christ.
Our diocese is a part of the Anglican Council of the North and are a diverse group of people: old and young, from many nationalities, and from a variety of different social backgrounds. We have large and vibrant First Nations communities (many in the northern part of our diocese) and we are excited about our future as God’s people.
If you're new to the Diocese (moving here or just visiting) you'll like it here. Our winters are long and cold, but our people are warm and friendly. Find a congregation here in the Anglican Diocese of Brandon: come worship God with us!
