News

After many years of service the Hobby Group at St. James has disbanded. Audrey Sadler, founding member of the “St. James Hobby Group” tells us that the group has served St. James’ for over 50 years. This group met regularly and participated in a variety of crafts. They supported various functions at the church, selling interesting crafts, cards, etc at the teas. It has been the custom of the group to provide beautiful Easter lilies for the Easter service. This year the lilies were placed in loving memory of Hilda Grummett who was also a founding member. On disbanding, the Hobby Group has turned its funds over to the Altar Guild to provide the lilies for years to come.
