St. Mary’s welcomed Bishop Jim on Sunday, Apr 6 for a Service of Confirmation for Dennis Johnston and his son Cody. Bishop Jim presented Dennis and Cody with their Certificates and Bibles. Following the service, a wonderful pot-luck lunch, with scrumptious desserts, was enjoyed by everyone.

On Wednesday evening, Apr 2, family and friends gathered at St. Mary’s to celebrate the marriage of Brett Johnston & Corina Swartz.

At St. Mary’s on Easter Sunday, our day of Celebration of the Resurrection
of our Lord began with Holy Eucharist at 8 a.m., followed by a delicious Parish
Breakfast prepared by the ladies of the Altar Guild.

The 11 a.m. Service of Holy Eucharist was a two-fold celebration. Two new Lay Readers were commissioned: Vivian Cook and Helen Nethery. As well as tending to their Lay Reader duties, Vivian is the Anglican Fellowship of Prayer Rep. for St. Mary’s and Helen is the Parish Secretary. Vivian and Helen send a heartfelt thank-you to all members of their Parish Family for their support and prayers, also to Revd. John for his patient teaching over the last two years.
